Svolis Beachhouse – Beachfront villa in a picturesque bay – Karystos on Evia
Svolis Beachhouse is situated in a small bay near the town of Karystos in southern Evia. The house was built right by the sea and offers views of the water and the coastal landscape from many of its rooms.
The beach is just about 15 metres from the house. The sheltered bay is quiet and ideal for swimming, snorkelling or relaxing days by the sea.
Room layout
The holiday home has several bedrooms with double or single beds, as well as separate sleeping areas. This makes the house ideal for families, couples or small groups of up to eight guests.
The rooms open onto balconies or terraces with sea views. Large windows and patio doors connect the interior with the landscape.
Having several bathrooms ensures convenience even when there are several guests.
Living area and kitchen
At the heart of the house is an open-plan kitchen-diner. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything you need for longer stays or cooking together.
The adjoining living area, with seating and a TV, serves as a communal gathering place in the house.
Terraces and outdoor areas
Terraces, balconies and verandas extend the living space outwards. From here, there is a view of the bay and the sea.
The outdoor areas are ideal for al fresco breakfasts, long summer evenings or relaxing after a day at the beach.
Location near Karystos
The house is situated just outside the centre of Karystos on the island of Evia. This provides a peaceful location right by the sea, whilst restaurants, cafés and shops are just a few minutes’ walk away.
The region around Karystos is known for its varied landscape of beaches, mountains and historic sites such as the Castello Rosso or the so-called Dragon Houses in the mountains behind the town.
Svolis Beachhouse offers a combination of beach house, nature and proximity to the city.

Everything about this house and its surroundings is perfect for a relaxing holiday. This was already our second stay here, and it certainly won't be our last. As a three-generation family, everyone found something they loved: snorkelling, scuba diving, boat trips, exploring the area, strolling through the harbour, enjoying delicious Greek food and, of course, swimming in the crystal-clear sea right in front of the house. Even in July, we often had the beach almost entirely to ourselves. A big thank you to Peter and Raukia for their wonderful hospitality. We enjoyed every single moment of our stay.
This was definitely one of the most beautiful holiday homes we have ever stayed in. The location right on the beach is simply incredible – we often had the beach entirely to ourselves, which made it feel like a little paradise. The house is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well equipped. It truly had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. What made our stay even more special were the hosts. They are the warmest, most welcoming people we have ever met. Thank you so much for letting us spend such a wonderful time in your beautiful home!
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche bei euch. Euer Haus direkt am Strand ist wirklich einmalig. Jeden Morgen mit diesem Ausblick aufzuwachen war etwas ganz Besonderes. Vielen Dank für eure herzliche Gastfreundschaft – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
